
Michael Haberecht
MD, PhD
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with almost 25 years of experience in working with teenagers and adults of all ages. I received my medical degree and a PhD in Neuroscience from the McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I completed my residency in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University.
For the past 20 years, I have a worked with university students at Stanford Vaden Health Center. During this time, I served as Associate Director for the Counseling and Psychological Services and am currently a staff psychiatrist.
I am also Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. I have taught and supervised medical students, psychiatry residents and psychology trainees. I am also engaged in psychoanalytic education at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California.
